Because this low level abeit high paying jobs have to do with people and communities, here are the simple requirement you should meet before considering applying for this jobs.

  1. An Intermediate Knowledge of the blockchain and what it entails, especially #DEFI & #NFT.
  2. Ability to read, write and speak fluently in widely spoken languages, especially but not limited to English, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Vietnamese etc. You local language is also helpful for translation.
  3. Have good social media accounts with reputation for posting blockchain related contents, this is by far the biggest flex to have, if you do not have a social media account, you should do so now. I recommend getting a twitter account, tiktok account, youtube, and even aa medium account for writing articles. post frequently and build a small audience. you do not need thousands of audience to succeed, a tight knitted audience of 100 people is enough to kickstart your crypto career.

Highly sort after skills in crypto that doesnt require coding knowledge or a degree.

  1. On-chain Analyst : There are several threads on twitter teaching how to do this simple task. I Also share lessons in this area on my social media pages I will leave a link below for you to check out some of them. Projects are frequently in the lookout for onchain analyst to help spot trends, bots, whales in the community and will not fail to bring them into the team’s fold. Here is an intro video on how to monitor whale wallets.click here
  2. Content Creation: You do no need to show your face in videos to explain simple stuffs to your audience, you can record your screen, create an infographics or tell a story using screenshots and voice overs. Deep dive twitter threads explaining projects and what they stand for helps too. Examples of contents you can create.

3. Design Skill: If you are already a graphic designer , then you are in luck, crypto projects are always in the look out for creatively talented community members. You will be creating mostly infographics, educational contents, stickers, event posters, memes etc. nothing very intensive, if you dont know how to design, I’ve got you cover. You can get canva pro. Canva pro is a very powerful app for making designs without having professional level skill for editing graphics material,it provides a very simple learning introduction as well.

4.Event Organising: You dont need to have a certain accent to ply this route, people in the web3 space are generally respectful and will not laugh at you for having a certain accent. Provided you are imparting knowledge, they will listen to you.

5.Trust: Overall what most crypto projects are looking out for is not the candidate with the top skill but the most trusted candidate . Trust is the singular most important factor in getting payying gigs in crypto.

Heres what you need to do to build trust in your target community.

  1. Pick out recently launched projects with proven team/marketing operation funds, the bigger the fund the better , this is a move to eliminate competion for possible gigs and also give you time to build out your trust with the community. You can use @dovemetrics , @pinkecosystem @TrustPad , @GameFi_Official and other launchpads to watch projects that have been able to raise funds, join their telegram/discord channels. I also share Hiring Projects in my discord channel HERE https://discord.gg/QndT8r3PYp
  2. Volunteer: Unapologetically, Do this in all honesty without expectation of rewards, ( I spoke to some group of UI designers who didnt understand the benefit of giving value and expecting nothing in return. Inknowingly this is a psychological tact for someone to owe you a favour. Do an inforgraphic for the community , help out in educating new members about the project, update the community group with new finds in your onchain analysis of the project tokens. By doing this , you are building a reputation for yourself that will be useful someday.
  3. Like the Team: It can get really crazy in crypto groups and channels, infighting between the team and members. Just dont be that guy causing this commotion, remember the goal is to partake in the team’s/marketing fund. Be in a cordial relationship with team members, curb your critism of them and always be the mediator of peace in the group.
  4. Be active the community and consider yourself an Og when the project progresses to a new stage and new members are ushered in.
  5. Lastly dont fail to dm the man in charge, Complement him and thank him for his relentless job in the project, subtly give your opinion on the project. If he hasnt noticed you around the community yet , he will start doing so and that will be the begining of a new friendship.
